My guess is that they "say" that they are homosexual, bisexual, or whatever stuff they come up. I lose track of the many subgroups they come up with. To say that you are "homosexual" or "bicurious" makes you not so average. Younger folks are always searching for identity. It does not help that there are vastly more public instances of homosexuality and such. Growing up.. I could only name off 4 or 5 (elton john, liberace, boy george, etc) and now there are hundreds. However, no matter what I do, I can't pretend to be attracted to other men. That is something that was hard-wired into me at a very early age. Even in the 1st grade, I would crush on girls. I loved their softness and femininity. I also experienced jealousy over a girl's affection (or lack thereof) at a very early age. Oh, I had no idea what I was experiencing at the time, but I had these feelings around certain girls and I wanted them to notice me, like me.
So, I'm assuming that a genuine homosexual boy "crushes" on other boys, right? Or, do they simply have no feelings about the opposite sex? I don't know. I've never inquired. Still, its not something you can fake.
